David Wright, Partner

David Wright manages our media operations in Silicon Valley and Northern California. He is a senior, experienced business manager based in Silicon Valley. During his more than 20-year career, he has managed corporate communications and public relations programs for both International PR agencies and individual corporations. David brings extensive expertise in networking, enterprise software, software development tools, customer relationship management, partner relationship management, Internet security and encryption, data storage, e-business services and multimedia management technologies. Previously, David worked for Edelman Public Relations Worldwide in Silicon Valley, where he managed PR and media relations activities for VeriSign, iPass, Arcot, Scient and others. Before joining Edelman, David was a PR specialist in the aerospace and public utilities industries. He earned his Bachelors' degree from Pepperdine University.

Shirley Gines, Partner

Shirley has over 20 years of experience in corporate positioning, strategic communications, media relations and corporate communications. She has launched start-up companies and products, enhanced national brand reputations, and has motivated and educated corporate executives to achieve ambitious business goals. She has served as a corporate communications executive at several Silicon Valley and Southern California companies. Her professional work has earned her a number national PR awards, including the Public Relations Society of America’s (PRSA) top national award, the Silver Anvil Award of Excellence, and an International Association of Business Communications Silver 6 Award. Shirley holds degrees in psychology and communication from Stanford University. Her strategic counsel and sustained media and industry analyst relations programs have resulted in numerous features and news articles in top business, consumer and technology neoutlets, including Businessweek, The Wall Street Journal, NY Times, Forbes, Fortune, Rolling Stone Magazine, S.F. Chronicle and L.A. Times.

Karen Selsor, Partner and Creative Director

A veteran technical writer with more than 20 years of experience in media, marketing, and training, Karen Selsor has perfected our content development process. She's the research team leader and expert wordsmith behind many of our recent press releases, case studies and white papers. Previously at Xerox Corporation, she interviewed Xerox R&D engineers and translated new product information into easy-to-understand language for sales training manuals, sales brochures, and marketing materials. Working in Washington, D.C. for ten years, she produced bylined and contributed articles, technical reports, case studies, press releases, software manuals, newsletters, audio scripts and video scripts. She is the author of three novels. Selsor earned her Masters' degree from The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C.

Michele Moninger Baker, Partner

For more than 18 years, Michele has provided strategic public relations services to high-technology and vertical-focused companies in the US and internationally. She is captivated by interesting innovations and thrives on developing strategic plans and creative communication programs that set her clients apart from the masses, which has earned her many PRSA Bernays awards. Her industry expertise ranges from traditional technology markets, both B-to-B and B-to-C, to vertical markets including manufacturing, advertising, entertainment, finance, food, health, retail and real estate. Past clients include Fortune 500s like Cisco, 3Com, National Semiconductor, Hewlett-Packard and Eastman Kodak, many mid-caps, and start-ups. Previously, she served as vice president for The Ardell Group, and worked with several other California PR firms including Franson, Hagerty & Associates, CCS and Nuffer, Smith, Tucker; and Rogers & Cowen of New York City. Michele earned her bachelor's degree in technical journalism and public relations from Colorado State University.

Kurt Barnhart, Partner

Kurt Barnhart is focused on strategic messaging, positioning, written communications and developing leads for our clients. He has more than 20 years of experience in journalism, sales, marketing and public relations having served as a PR, marketing and sales executive for a number of software, electronics, networking and technology companies in Silicon Valley, Orange County and San Diego. Previously, Barnhart worked in Manhattan and Washington, D.C as a journalist for the Associated Press, ABC News and National Public Radio. He has written articles and columns for The Red Herring, The San Francisco Chronicle, Software Business, Electronic News, EE Times and other leading technology publications. Barnhart earned a degree in Journalism from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University and studied business and communications at Columbia University, Penn State University, the University of San Francisco and Santa Clara University.

Nicole Conley, Media Outreach Specialist

Based in Silicon Valley, Nicole brings over ten years of expertise in media relations, strategic development and planning, writing, project management, marketing, and journalism to MediaBridge Public Relations. Nicole's primary role on MediaBridge accounts involves outbound media relations, including pitching stories against editorial calendars, booking press tours, and securing speaking positions for clients executives. Always results oriented, Nicole regularly secures meetings and coverage at media outlets such as Red Herring, ComputerWorld, InfoWorld, eWeek, Information Week, Business 2.0, CIO Magazine, PC World, C/net, Electronic News, Electronic Engineering Times and Network World. She also has secured speaking engagements and keynote addresses at conferences including Demo and Venturewire conferences. Nicole holds a bachelor's degree in journalism from San Francisco State University.

Sheila Miramontes, Account Coordinator, Media Researcher

Sheila has worked at MediaBridge for seven years and is charged with managing editorial and analyst target lists for many of our clients. In her role, she tracks editorial calendars to identify pitching opportunities, researches applicable industry sectors for competitive tracking,and completes other media research projects.

Gary Katz, Marketing Operations Specialist

Based in Santa Clara, Gary Katz is a veteran of more than twenty years in the technology industry with corporate and agency experience leading marketing, corporate marketing, public relations, lead generation, investor relations and employee communications programs. Today he assists our clients with marketing operations and outbound marketing to improve efficiency, collaboration, marketplace traction and measurable ROI. Katz has extensive experience working with companies in the networking, telecommunications,enterprise software, mass storage and semiconductor markets. Gary holds a Master's degree in organization development from the University of San Francisco and a Bachelor's degree in public relations from San Jose State University. He is past president of the Silicon Valley Chapter, Public Relations Society of America, and a certified strategic planning process facilitator by the Institute of Cultural Affairs.

David Grubbs, Director of Sales Services

David Grubbs manages our sales services group from his base near San Francisco, delivering services to our clients that help them perfect their customer acquisition and outbound sales programs. He has more than 20 years of sales management and business development experience with major corporations as well as small technology companies in the Silicon Valley. Since the introduction of the IBM PC in 1981, David has earned a reputation as a skilled, results-oriented sales professional for small computers, enterprise software, storage devices, peripherals and related services. He has successfully trained, managed and motivated groups of technical sales people to meet and exceed planned sales goals. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of San Francisco.
